I was born in Alamogordo, New Mexico while my father served in the USAF. Growing up I have also lived in Texas, England, Nebraska, Idaho, but Utah is what I call home. I am the sixth of nine children with five older brothers and three younger sisters. My parents currently reside on a little gentleman’s farm in Deweyville, Utah. I served an LDS mission in the Czech Republic and Slovakia speaking the Czech language. I graduated from Bear River High School and attended Utah State University receiving both a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology with an Emphasis in Physical Education Teaching and a master’s degree in Physical and Sport Education. I enjoy playing all sports and jump at the challenge of a new game I have not yet experienced. Teaching and coaching are two passions of mine that bring the most joy in to my life. I love the youth, coaching new strategies and skills of the game. I fell in love with teaching at Utah State University as an undergraduate teaching fellow and graduate teaching assistant, so much so that it’s all I want to do for the rest of my life.
