Policies and Procedures

Attendance: Choir members must consistently attend rehearsals to sing in performances. Youth Chorus members may miss a maximum of two rehearsals during a semester (September to December or January to May). Extra makeup rehearsals are provided monthly to make up absences at regular Monday rehearsals. Attendance at final rehearsals leading up to performances are mandatory. Choir members must make a year-long commitment to the choir. Tuition payments will not be suspended or refunded if choir members drop mid-year (barring medical issues or other extenuating circumstances.)

At-Home Practice: Choir members are expected to practice at home (with the aid of customized practice tracks included in tuition) in order to learn all of the required repertoire. As a guideline, choir members should expect to practice 10 minutes per day but may be asked to do more at the director’s discretion.
